Shimla is the queen of hills,the most popular tourist centre of India. Innumerable people visit Shimla for different purposes, business transactions, conventions , touring, health treatement, shopping and what not. Besides domestic tourists Shimla is also an entry poin where the arrival of foreign tourists sre very high in Himachal Pradesh.


Shimla, one of the most spectacular tourist place of India, is located in Himachal Pradesh  and also the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh. It is well connected by different modes of transpost, thus tourists find it easily accessible compared to many other places in India. Due to inflow of people from different areas Shimlas population has a cosmopolitan character.


Being a tourist place, lot of entertainment activities like cultural and music performances keep happening here. The city is also rich in museums, art galleries and historical heritages.

The market of Shimla town is full of young crowd. This is very popular and lively market, has something for everyone and it’s a great place to shop for different things. Even being crowded and active, most of the areas of the city are quite safe.

One place that you cant ignore is definitely the mall road in Shimla. Located at the heart of town.


Shimla ridge: Located in the heart of Shimla is the famous tourist attraction known as ridge. Horse riding is major attraction here.


Summer Hill: It is located at a height of 1283 metres above sea level. This charming spot is famous for its university if Himachal Pradesh that is located here. 


Kufri: 




Winter sports capital breathtaking views , sttuning locales and tranquil sorroundings this is what kufri hill station is all about. The spell binding beauty of kufri hill station will definitely enchant you. It is only 19 kms from Shimla and has lot to offer like sking, hiking, zoo 


Chail: 45 kms from shimla. It has highest cricket pitch in the world. Twinkling lights from shimla is amazing.


Jakhoo temple :



Anceint temple, dedicated to lord Hanuman, located on jakhoo hil, 2.5 kms from ridge and this highest peak offers scenic views of city. 


Naldera : 23kms from shimla. It has indias oldest nine hole golf course, laid out by lord Curzon during the era of british raj.

Road : Many people use surface transport to enter the city. The road traffic comes in the form of buses , coaches and taxis and private cars.
